Background

The last few years have witnessed a spectacular change in the furniture industry in India. With a relentless search for new technology and concepts, the Indian furniture industry has grown exponentially, helped by a growing demand for well made and well designed furniture for the home and office.

Steelux, a leading name in this field started 39 years ago with a vision to meet market expectations with a small range of domestic furnitures. Today that range has grown to cover the whole spectrum of ready made steel and wrought iron furniture not just for homes but also modern modular furniture for the office as well.

Infrastructure & Network

A new factory spread over 56,000 sq ft with modern machinery and powder coating plant and a 7 tank phosphating plant to remove rust from iron helps meet demand from a growing list of retail and institutional clients like IIT Kharagpur and LIC. Our R&D division helps to continuously improve quality & design and is instrumental in our getting an ISO 9001:2000 certification. With a network of nearly 40 showrooms & dealers across West Bengal we look to the future with confidence and plan to expand our network to the whole of Eastern India in the coming months.
